about

Plowin' the New Year was recorded live at Sycamore-Plow Farm in Farrar, MO just after the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve, 2010 (first there was a toast by Clarke Montford). The band whole heartedly launched in Auld Lang Syne, forgetting the words but not worrying about it. There was the wash tub bass, banjos, guitars, mando, tambo.

The Omete Players included: Dan Fister, Eric Tumania, Sam Pounders, Martin Frye, Clarke Montford, Sherry Montford, Tom Scheiter, Mike Herr, Steve Frye, John Estes, Rob Frye, and dozens more friends and family singing along by the bon-fire.
